Plating Industry

The plating industry uses a variety of metals, including gold, silver, nickel, copper, chromium, and zinc. The process involves cleaning and preparing the surface of the object to be plated, followed by the application of the plating material through electroplating. Electroplating is a technique where an electrical current is used to dissolve metal from an anode and deposit it onto a cathode. The cathode in this case is the object being plated. The thickness of the plating layer can vary depending on the application and requirements.Plating is used to improve the appearance, durability, functionality of the object being plated, and make metal objects more resistant to corrosion.
