Cal No Solv is water-based material, and has acceptable levels of voc’s. It is non-flammable and has no restrictions on storage or use. Diluted in a 20% by volume solution it has been proven to replace Stoddard solvent in most applications. In the automotive industries, Cal No Solv has replaced Stoddard solvent in parts cleaning tanks where only the solvent has worked in the past. Cal No Solv has been found effective on oily and greasy parts and as a pre-painting degreaser. Cal No Solv has been tested and has been proven to be safe on all metals.
