Cal 810 NC
CAL 810 NC is a free flowing material that is added to water with sodium cyanide. The
resulting strip bath will remove nickel, brass, cadmium, copper, silver and zinc from steel and
iron alloys.
CAL 810 NC bath will remove nickel plate at a rate of approximately 1.0 mil/hr at 120 F (50 C). Brass coated copper plate is stripped at a rate of 2.0 mil/hr and does not attack steel or iron
alloys as long as 5 oz/gal of free sodium cyanide is present.
